1. Do you have parking?
We do not have parking in the building, but we have a special agreement with a
local car park very close by. Rates are €25 per day. Simply
to contact our concierge.
2. Do you have a travel cot available?
Yes, we have a travel cot available on each floor. We welcome families. Simply
mention this whilst making your reservation.
3. Do you have rooms for disabled people?
Yes. Everyone is welcome in our Casa, so we made sure to have rooms adapted
for disabled people´s needs. There are ramps in the building and an elevator.
4. Do you provide a shuttle service to the airport?
Our Casa offers a shuttle service upon request. To find out the prices for a
specific transfer and to reserve the service, please contact our Concierge by
5. How much is the taxi ride from the airport to Casa Gracia?
A taxi ride from the airport takes about 25-30 minutes (depending on the traffic)
and the price is around €30-35. Please contact our concierge to require us to

6. Are the rooms mixed gender rooms?
Our Casa is all about diversity so all dorms in our Casa are mixed. Alternatively,
you can choose a private room.
7. Do you have a place to store bicycles?
Yes, we do. We recently arranged a storage place for bikes inside our Casa.
Moreover, if you want to rent a bike while in Barcelona, stop by our
and get a good deal for bike rentals.
8. What do I need to present at check in?
In order to check in, we will need some photo ID even if you are EU citizen
or from outside of the EU. We do not accept driver license or student IDs.
It facilitates the check in process if you have your reservation confirmation
number at hand when checking in.
9. Do you have both dorms and private rooms?
Yes, our Casa offers both shared and private rooms. Our dorms are mixed and
accommodate up to six people (the majority have a private bathroom and only
a few dorms have shared bathroom). Our private rooms accommodate up to six
people; they all have bathroom en-suite. For an even fancier stay, choose our
Super Suites, doubles with private bathroom and Jacuzzi bath.
10. What is the common areas schedule?
You are welcome to use our lounge, relax room, library and dining room at any
time. Just so you get a good night sleep, our terrace opens at 8 AM and closes at
11 PM and our kitchen is open from 7 AM to 11.30 PM. Enjoy!
11. Where can I store my food?
We have a fully equipped kitchen. There are several large fridges where you can
store your food – just write your name, room number and check-out date on your food. But
we do encourage our guests to cook and share their talent! The taste of your culture is our delight.
12. Can I bring alcohol in my room?
No, there is no drinking or smoking allowed in any of the rooms. If you want
to drink and relax you're welcome to do so on the 1st
areas. Plus, there you can enjoy the Casa´s weekly concerts! There are also two
balconies and a large, beautiful terrace where you can enjoy some fresh air.
13. Do you have an elevator?
Yes, there is an elevator. Our beautiful modernist building has 6 floors, so you
can also exercise and take the spiral staircase!
14. Do you have an ironing board?
Yes, we do. We understand you want to be nice and neat when going out to
enjoy the city, so just ask for the ironing board at reception.
15. Do you have heating and air conditioning?
Yes, we do. Barcelona is a warm Mediterranean city, so when you come back
to Casa after a day out, we wanted to make ensure you have a proper room temperature.
16. Do all rooms have windows?
Yes, all Casa Gracia rooms have windows, some of the rooms are facing the street
and others are facing the interior patio, for those who prefer a quieter place during the night.
17. Are there hairdryers in the room?
Yes, there are hairdryers available for all guests. If you booked a private room,
the hairdryer will be in your en-suite bathroom. If you booked a bed in a dorm,
you can ask for the hairdryer at reception.
18. How does the cleaning service work?
Should your booking be for six days or more, the cleaning service is included.
19. Can I get extra cleaning service?
Yes, you can get the cleaning/extra cleaning service, for an extra charge of €10 per service.
20. Do you organize walking tours?
Yes, we do. Since we are situated in the heart of Barcelona, it is easy to get
around by foot. So every day, at 11 AM we organize a walking tour in different
areas of the city. You will have a local guide and since it is our pleasure to show
you around the city, the tours are free. Sign up for the tours at our
21. Can I drink the tap water?
Although it is not very common, you can drink tap water while in Barcelona.
However, know that there is always free water, tea and coffee in our Casa so help yourself.
22. How do I get in and out of the Casa?
For security reasons our front entrance is always closed. Just ring the door bell
and we will buzz you in instantly. Also, upon check in we will provide you with
a card that opens the door to your room. It's that easy.
23. Do you have wending machines?
Yes, we knew you might feel like having a snack after your night out in the city,
so we placed a vending machine at each floor of our Casa.
24. Do you have lockers in the dorms?
We know you will want to store your valuables, so in dorms, there is a private
locker for every bed. You also have the option to store your valuables at reception.
25. Is there a printing service available in Casa Gracia?
Yes, there is. According to our Green Initiative plan there is a charge of €0.50 per page.
26. Do you have a kitchen?
We have a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen that you are welcome to use. There
are several large fridges where you can store your food – just write your name,
room number and check-out date on your food. But we do encourage our guests
to cook and share their talent!
27. Do you have a luggage room?
Yes, we do have a luggage room where you can leave your belongings before
check in and after check out – we know you want to enjoy the city as much as
you possibly can and let´s face it – your luggage will slow you down.
28. Can I store my valuables?
Yes, we have a secure box at reception, just bring us your valuables and we will
store them for you.
29. Is bed linen included?
Yes, bed linen is included in all types of rooms.
30. What about towels, are they included?
Yes, towels are included in the price – we know just difficult can be to pack for a trip,
we don´t want you to take too much space with a towel when you can fill it with souvenirs.
31. Is there Internet access?
Yes, there is free Wi-Fi in all rooms and common areas. We know you´ll want to
check in at "Casa Gracia Barcelona".
32. What about business facilities, do you offer any?
We are environmentally friendly, so we are committed to limit the use of paper.
Our Casa has a business corner with printing, scanning and photocopying
service available for a charge.
33. Is there any type of food available?
Aside from the delicious breakfast included with every type of reservation, every night
(except Sundays) we serve a tasty homemade dinner – to sign up for that,

Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building, however we do have a large
terrace and two balconies where you can smoke.
